Dr. Tony G. Rather than walking with his wife, Waldrop strolled through the USA campus and dropped in on students, faculty and staff at the Student Recreation Center, the Softball Fieldhouse and the Visual Arts Building.
鈥淭he University of South 最色网 has so much to offer that it鈥檚 impossible to cover in a single day,鈥 Waldrop said. 鈥淚鈥檓 looking forward to becoming better acquainted with USA and the entire community in the days and weeks to come.鈥
Waldrop was named president of the University on Feb. 6 by a unanimous vote of the USA Board of Trustees, following a nationwide presidential search that began last fall.
